Wake Up! The morning sunlight beams across my skin, then
prior to desire to avoid the “Deadly Sins”,    I
play the part of “Scarecrow” lookin’ for my brain   
its trapped beside a “Fair Trade” roast, tryin’ to go........

I pour the greasy nuggets round the blades of my machine

Memories still percolate from when I was four years old
My dad sat his big ol’ cup beside my milk so cold   
He blazed a trail to melody and story to unfold   
As he topped off my “moo” with “joe” before he hit the road
