I strode over the hills, over the
roads of an ancient island
Not that I’m lost, I just came to explore
where the journey had reached, it reached to the
door, I walked a plank of stone, into the
sea from this Aegean island the key was in, so I opened the door
for rest and reprieve........

A mother was holding her child
A heartbeat steady and mild
I pondered the lessons I’ve learned and the
ones yet to be... there’s no riches to
earn..... in this Chapel of Sea

“Sea of Enchantment” Instrumental

Some carry a cross, some may be
tossed like ships in a storm faith may be
lost I’ve learned to accept there’s something in
trade for the blessing of sunrise

but given my luck this far, behind the bars
a vision imprisoned
the key I thought lost was cradling me
as I ventured across........

To a mother holding her child
A sea breeze steady and mild
I ponder the lessons I learn and the
ones yet to be... there’s no riches to
earn........

For a mother holding her child
A heartbeat steady and mild
I reckon the lessons I learn are the
ones I retrieve... candles flickering
free..... in this Chapel of Sea
